Yes, Homebuyer Surveys and Snagging Surveys can be paid via clearpay, which entitles you to spread the payment, interest free over 4 payments. Get in touch for further details and a quote. EPCs are not eligible. 

New build homes should be immaculate for you to move into but this isn't always the case. the average new build property contains between 50 and 150 snags!

Weather dependant, we always try to use the latest technology to inspect hard to reach places such as the roof. This isn't always possible or necessary and will depend on the surveyors findings on the day.

Here at South Lincs Surveyors, we are accredited with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). This means that we are verified and qualified and insured to carry out a range of residential property surveys such as Level 2 Homebuyer Surveys, Damp and Mould Surveys and Snagging Surveys.

Depending on the size of the property, a survey typically takes between 2 and 4 hours to complete on site. 

Reports are sent out within 4 working days of the survey. 

Earlier the better. It is best to instruct us to carry out a survey as soon as possible. You can cancel and get a full refund anywhere up to 48 hours before the appointment (subject to T&C) so it won't cost you a penny if you change your mind.

Yes you do. You will not be able to evict the tenant if they do not pay their rent without a valid EPC in place. You also need to renew EPCs before they expire, regardless if they have been living there for years. You should not wait for the end of tenancy as the law has changed.

To carry out the survey we will come into the home and check the boiler, windows, walls and, if possible, check the roof space for thermal performance. The full survey usually takes no more than 1 hour.
